This neighborhood bar sparkles with sheen in its brown and green. With an array of sports paraphernalia (including homage to local god Tony Gwynn), a dart league and direct TV for sports overload, JT’s should be top even among beer-dieting spectators of sport. The crowd is a mix between the gaggle of local diehards and SDSU students (who get a discount on drinks with valid student id). If you're looking for singles, come on Friday. JT's clubhouse "where friends come to meet friends" ain't that the truth. I have so much fun there. Ted, the owner, is a great guy. Jeff , Jamie & Nicole are great bartenders. The karaoke is fantastic. Jean & Tim keep that place jumping on the karaoke scene 4 nights a week. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday. I'd give JT's 10 stars if I could.

Free popcorn! Need I say more!!!! If you want more than free popcorn out of your bar, JT's also has cheap drinks, great times and a dozen TV's! come for the popcorn and stay for the beer!!!!!

The Clubhouse pub and grill is now called JTs clubhouse pub and grill. JTs features great food (burgers made from fresh Iowa meat farms ). Happy hour m-f 3 to 7 and all day Tuesday and Wednesday. JT’s has a lively crowd on Thursdays through Saturday. Specials are offered daily. It is great fun. Everyone should try JT.
